Canada is now in the 2011 World Cup thanks to their 47-30 (on aggregate) win over the USA in a two-game qualifier series.

The Canadians join Pool A along with New Zealand, France, Tonga, and the Asian champions, which most likely will be Japan.

Their schedule in New Zealand is as follows:
September 14 v. Tonga at Northlands Even Centre in Whangarei
September 18 v. France at McLean Park, Napier
September 27 v. Asia #1 at McLean Park, Napier
October 2 v. New Zealand at Wellington Regional Stadium, Wellington
