The Norwich University women’s team handed Dartmouth a startling 44-0 defeat Monday.

With Dartmouth hit by some key injuries, Norwich took command early, pressuring Big Green in their own end and leading to scrumhalf Maria Lorentzon sniping over for a try. Sixteen minutes later Norwich captain and center Clarissa Wynn finished a team try that involved impressive phase play from the forwards and a well executed backline move.

“My favorite part of the game was seeing eight different players run in tries,” said NU head coach Austin Hall.  “We attacked from many different angles and platforms and we were successful with each.  This was an outstanding overall team effort and development opportunity for our side.  We will not be complacent and we will get right back to work today.”
