Midwest Hosts All-Star Tourney This Weekend

The Chicago Blaze rugby fields in Lamont, Ill. Will play host to the Midwest Local Area Union all-star tournament this weekend.

The most extensive of all the LAU tournaments held simply because the Midwest RFU has so many member unions, the event will feature six men’s and five women’s teams.

The Allegheny and Wisconsin LAUs have combined to produce a President’s XV in the men’s bracket. Meanwhile the Midwest U23s and Iowa will help provide opposition for the three women’s teams set to play three times – Chicago-Area, Michigan and Ohio.
