DII Women Top 25

April 1, 2009 – The DII women’s playoffs in various territories have helped us move around the rankings somewhat. With the Pacific Coast and West RFU holding their playoffs this coming weekend, things should move even more.
Here’s what we discovered: Shippensburg is for real with a capital R. They shut out both opponents in the Mid-Atlantic semis (shut them out, mind you). East Carolina is very strong in the South and people should watch out for them.
Stonehill got back on the horse this past weekend and blew out Holy Cross – do not count them out.
No one knows really what’s going to happen in the Pacific Coast, but our money’s on Sac State.
And finally, we dropped several teams out of the Top 25, and couldn't find enough to warrant inclusion. Slot #25 is vacant.
