North American Four Tournaments
The dates and venues have been set for the spring contests of the four American and Canadian teams that will participate in 2007’s IRB NA 4 tournaments. The “spring training” will determine who from the squads is picked to represent the two nations in September’s World Cup.

It is the eve of a Rugby World Cup qualifying match between the United States and Uruguay, and I’m enjoying a meal outdoors on a warm, South American spring day at a suburban Montevideo restaurant. Canada to Card Women Players
Sport Canada announced that it will fund the Athlete Assistance Program for the national senior women’s rugby program in 2007.
Bolstered by the national team's 4th-place ranking at the 2006 World Cup, and the knowledge that there will be a Women's 7s World Cup in 2009 (and the fact that the Canada women's 7s will compete in San Diego in February).
